Since the Apocalypse, part of the globe is taken by a desert. It’s the world of the dead, Hades. In the non eradicated part, men are going against mutant creatures. The great walls of Umanurga protect the men of those they call “the monkeys”. It is governed by a tyrant, the King of kings: Erebus. The mutants, stemming from the last big monkeys, gained a superior intelligence and a humanoid body but haven’t lost any of their animal traits: they are fl esh eaters, predators, and massacre humans. During an umpteenth confrontation, Erebus routs the monkeys. The next day, in the poor areas of Umanurga, word gets around that a ghost from the Hades appeared on the old bridge that crosses the river. They say it grants wishes and tells the future!
As you can see, I redesigned the website in anticipation of the apocalypse.

About comics, please buy Vorax. It was still too nonsensical for the disgruntled people. But David Calvo and I did a great graphic poem. Nothing serious, Vorax is just a comic book, more than drugs, and one of the best. The stars are always burning and the end is near.

Le monde aussi loin que possible hors du temps, arrêté. Dans le labyrinthe des rochers, au désert, serpentent les esprits anciens, propulsés par les champs magnétiques du noyau terrestre. Pour les effleurer, ressentir, il faut, fantôme vrai, s’allonger dans les mares de sable avec les araignées. Et les poudres, résidus telluriques.
Tu avances, à Paris, et l’horreur est en chemin, s’immisce dans l’à peu près ordinaire du quotidien. Quelque part dans les projections d’une jeune femme qui ne parvient pas à sortir d’elle-même. La conscience de soi est le seul chemin contre l’horreur. Touche le fantôme. Le fantôme que tu avales est le seul chemin.

The world as far as possible out of time, stopped. In the labyrinth of rocks, in the desert, wind the ancient spirits, powered by the magnetic fields of Earth’s core. To touch them, to feel, you must become a true ghost, lying in pools of sand with spiders. And powders, telluric residuals.
You move on, in Paris, and horror is on your way, interferes in the almost ordinary everyday life. Somewhere in the projections of a young woman who can not get out of herself . Self-consciousness is the only way against horror. Touch the ghost. The ghost you swallow is the only way.
